The Only “Sure” System
Build a website filled with great content about a specific topic. The content might be tips, stories, anything…as long as it’s helpful. On the Internet, great websites are rewarded with links from relevant websites, which in turn causes an increase in traffic. On every page, build a relationship with your visitors by being the “real you”… when visitors see you as a real person, they are much more likely to buy from you. Once they feel a connection with you, capitalize on it by providing a casual pitch for a product. Building that relationship is called “PREselling”. These sales, coupled with ad sales, translates into an income for you, meaning you’ve monetized your website.

C – Content.
Great content is one of the most rare attributes of a website. For every great website full of great content, you’ll find a hundred websites that were slapped together, nearly completely useless. To succeed with a website, simply ask yourself: what would someone want to find on this website? Now give your visitors what they want. That’s all great content means.
T – Traffic.
Great content drives websites. If a website doesn’t have great content, unless the webmaster is some sort of marketing genius, the website will fail. Great content is rewarded through the “evolution” of the Internet. If someone stumbled across a helpful article, they’re likely to link to it from their website, reference it on an online forum, tell a friend in an email, or save the link to read it another time. Great content causes traffic.
P – PREsell.
Traffic alone doesn’t make money. Traffic simply means that you have individuals on your website. That’s it. To capitalize on the full potential that these individuals might offer, you have to build a relationship. When you build a relationship, people are willing to trust you, so when you make “the pitch” for them to purchase a product, they are much more likely to purchase the product.
Incredibly enough, this simple concept of PREselling is often completely forgotten by Internet marketers. Build a relationship, and you build sales.
